Smart Care Acquires PureMist Corporation, Espresso Me Service and VP Coffee

Smart Care Continues to Build Premier, National Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Company with Specialty Equipment-Focused Acquisitions
ST. PAUL – Smart Care® Equipment Solutions (Smart Care) announces the acquisitions of PureMist Corporation, a leading west coast servicer and manufacturer of produce misting, water filtration, and specialty coffee equipment, as well as VP Coffee, a leading east coast provider of specialty coffee equipment sales and repair and maintenance services.
PureMist Corporation, Smart Care’s fifth acquisition of 2021 and tenth acquisition to date, is based in Hillsboro, Oregon, and offers repair and planned maintenance services for misting, humidification, reverse osmosis, water filtration and sanitation equipment, as well as manufacturing and installing misting systems. PureMist also operates Espresso Me Service, which offers repair and maintenance services, parts and equipment for espresso machines and coffee brewers and grinders.
VP Coffee, Smart Care’s sixth acquisition of 2021 and eleventh acquisition to date, is based in Siler City, North Carolina, and offers equipment sales and installation, repair, and maintenance services for espresso machines, coffee brewers, water filtration, grinders, roasters and other specialty commercial coffee equipment.
The acquisition of these service companies strengthens the specialty segment of Smart Care’s business, adding expertise in perishable control, water treatment systems and specialty coffee equipment solutions for customers in food retail, QSR, and beyond.
