Community Care Program: Helping During the Holiday Season

Helping others during the season of giving

It’s always a great time to lend a hand to others when and where needed. Especially during the holidays.

One of our Community Care Partners recently held their 5th annual holiday event. The Paterson Task Force of Paterson N.J. hosted a Christmas dinner and toy drive in partnership with another area nonprofit, the Hearns & Oliver Foundation. The event catered a meal and donated wrapped gifts to each family in attendance – inclusive of coats donated by Smart Care team members.

Families with children enjoyed arts and crafts, cookie decorating and tree decorating. Each family was able to decorate trees donated by Starbucks, and take one home.

Thanks to the Paterson Task Force and our New Jersey area Smart Care team members for donating and volunteering to this wonderful community event.
