Zone Climate Services Acquires Smart Care Equipment Solutions

Zone Climate Services (“Zone”), a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners (“Wind Point”), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Smart Care Equipment Solutions, a national service provider of commercial food equipment services. Zone Climate Services is a Midwest based company providing commercial and industrial refrigeration & HVAC services to grocery stores, convenience stores and food service warehouse customers.

Henry Lees-Buckley, CEO of Zone will become the new CEO of the combined entity reporting to the board of directors.  Bill Emory, current Smart Care CEO has been named Chairman of Smart Care Equipment Solutions and will provide strategic oversight to the business while reporting into the board of directors. Gyner Ozgul has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of Smart Care Equipment Solutions and will report into Lees-Buckley.

The company will continue to have corporate offices in St. Paul, Minnesota and Alsip, Illinois.   The combination of Smart Care Equipment Solutions and Smart Care Climate Solutions will operate in all 50 states with over 1,100 technicians.
